Exercise Safety

ESA Advisory Board

In 1978, ESA's first Advisory Board was formed and consisted of leading educators, physicians, holistic health care providers, movement specialists, and professors from major universities. After 30 years of service, many of ESA's founding advisors have retired. Therefore ESA is currently in the process of restructuring the Advisory Board to include contemporary, distinguished professionals from diverse fields related to exercise, nutrition, health, fitness, and safety. Many of ESA's new board of experts have developed their professional credentials and careers alongside ESA and have been certified members since ESA was founded. An Advisory Board member is a service volunteer, holds a masters degree, doctorate, or high level specialty certification, and exemplifies experience and leadership in their area of expertise.
